WebLibrary has no accounts and we hold no data about you on our servers. There is no account to delete — your data is already only on your device. Here is how to remove all of it.
Deleting one entry
In the app, use the ⋯ button on the right of each card and choose Delete. The link and its open history are gone for good. To delete an entry in the private vault, unlock the vault, edit the entry and choose Delete.
Deleting everything
From Android settings: Settings → Apps → WebLibrary → Storage → Clear data. This removes the library, the private vault, your settings and the biometric record, irreversibly.
Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
Careful: this cannot be undone, and since we hold no copy you cannot ask us to recover anything. Taking a copy first with Download backup from the menu is recommended.
Copies outside the device
Clearing app data does not delete copies you exported earlier. Check these too:
- The
WebLibrary-yedek.jsonfile in your chosen backup folder. - The automatic backup file in your Documents folder.
- Backups you sent to cloud storage, email or a messaging app through the share menu.
- The automatic backup Android takes to your Google account, managed under Google → Backup in your device settings.
The transfer package on the server
If you used "Send to another device", the encrypted package sits on our server temporarily. It is deleted as soon as the other device downloads it, and in any case after at most 3 days. To have it go sooner, simply leave the code unused; we cannot open the package either, and cannot see what is inside.
Sending a request
Since we hold no data about you, no deletion request is needed. If you have a question or concern anyway, write to destek@weblibrary.app.
